Splash Some Pink

Valentine’s Day is here once again! It’s time to spread the love and, or course, splurge some gifts in the name of love 🙂

This year, I was thinking: why not giving something else than candy and chocolate? Why not giving something else as sweet as candies? Why not a cute and pretty pink perfume?
So I decided to celebrate this year Valentine’s Day with cute perfumes in my most favorite color.

Although I know in some beliefs there are some principles of giving perfume as gift. For those, it is forbidden to give perfumes to your loved ones because they believe it can cause separations. But for others, it is just a myth; the destiny of love is not swayed by giving perfume. But anyway, if you can’t give perfumes as gifts, you can always buy them for yourself, right?

So here they are, some of my favorite pretty pink perfume:

Betsey Johnson TooToo Pretty
Seems like this perfume was created specially for young and expressive ballerina to captures their free spirit, playfulness and sex appeal. Betsey combined the floral and fruity notes with lily, gardenia, musk, and vanilla and topped them all with fresh accords of pink grapefruit, black currant and lemon blossom.

Juicy Couture Couture La La
Juicy Couture is a guarantee of cuteness. Couture La La embodies free spirited and effortlessly glamorous women with the floral fruity notes from mandarin, green apple, red currant, lily of the valley, orange blossom, violet, and musk. The bottle has a little diamond necklace and a big pink bow.

Marc Jacobs Oh Lola!
Oh Lola! is described as lively, playful, irresistible, stylish and cheerful. This beautifully sculptured perfume bottle has a blend of fresh fruity and sweet flowery notes from peony, vanilla, wild strawberry, raspberry, pear, and sandalwood.



Van Cleef & Arpels Feerie Spring Blossom
A new version of the fairy tale pretty Feerie collection inspired by spring and first buds. Nature in spring gives the inspiration for the floral fresh and sweet scents. A flirtatious twist is provided by a spicy accord of pink pepper, magnolia, peony, wild raspberry, musk and warm tonka beans.

Mary Kay Dance to Life
This special edition fragrance marks the 50th Anniversary of Mary Kay and is designed for the woman who dances with every beat of her heart. Elegant floral notes include apples, rose, jasmine, magnolia, vanilla and warm amber.

Nina Ricci Nina L’Eau
The famous Nina Ricci’s romantic and delicate apple-shaped perfume, Nina, now comes in lighter and more aquatic version. It opens with refreshing notes of apple, grapefruit, mandarin and neroli. The heart includes watery accords along with gardenia and cherry. The base is sensual musky.

Guess Seductive Sunkissed
Another floral and fruity fragrance for bright sunny day, featuring essence of grapefruit, raspberry, pear and black currant blossom with jasmine, vanilla, orchid, violet, ebony wood and musk.

Lanvin Marry Me! A la Folie
Lanvin’s Marry Me! perfume has a new limited edition version specially released in February 2013. It is still consistent with the youthful passion floral and fruity tones. Top noted with bitter orange and black currant, the heart notes are rose and jasmine, and the base includes cedar and musk accords.



Isaac Mizrahi Fabulous
The first fragrance by the fashion designer launched in 2012. Fabulous is described as sensual and timeless fragrance with floral and fruity composition of bergamot, mandarin and nectarine on top, tuberose, jasmine, freesia and peony at heart and sandalwood, cedar and vanilla as the base notes.

Moschino Pink Bouquet
Pink Bouquet is constructed to bring positive energy, youthful freshness and euphoric notes. It has a floral-fruity blend with bergamot, pineapple sorbet, raspberry, jasmine, pink lily of the valley, violet, peony, peach, gingerbread and musk.

Azzaro Jolie Rose
Released in early 2012, Jolie Rose has cute swirly pink rose on the cap. The aroma is rich, fresh, floral and sparkly, cheerful, feminine and playful. The accords are consist of kumquat, lemon, black currant, roses, pink water lily, violet in the heart, and base of cedar and white musk.



Victoria’s Secret Life is Pink™ Wish Pink
Wish Pink is a part of Victoria’s Secret Life is Pink™ collection, which originally consists of 4 fragrances and all of them are in super cute bottles. Wish Pink is the pink one, the representative of girly and romantic scent with a blend of peony and vanilla.

Mango Delirium
A floral fragrance launched in 2006 by clothing retail famous brand, Mango, features gardenia, lily of the valley, mandarin blossom and tiare flower with a hint of coconut, musk, vanilla and heliotrope. The diamond-shaped bottle filled with pink liquid and flower lace on top fits for a perfect gift.

Alexandre Barthet Fuchsia
Fuchsia is vintage and couture, with adornment of playful pink feathers. This fragrance was intended as a decorative object to be displayed in a woman’s room. But it also has great fragrant notes of bergamot, black currant, gardenia, rose, orange blossom, sandalwood, vanilla and heliotrope.


So there you go; beautiful pink perfume for your Valentines. I wish you a very lovely Valentine’s Day and may your romantic plans go as sweet as chocolates 🙂 As for me, I will have a Valentine’s Day movie marathon with Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and The Avengers, because I want to spend this special day with my beautiful date, Jeremy Renner. Haha!
